Some photos from UK ChillOut! Camp.
Interlaken, Switzerland, Sep 2003
The UK ChillOut! camp participants, looking pensively into the flatlands.

The swiss don't just get a train to the bottom of the mountains, they take it
to TakeOff.

Well almost...

2nd day 2nd launch, Interlaken and big grins await.

2nd day 2nd launch composite. It was rather steep as I recall. I caught my first
ever proper thermal over the little bump to
the left of the town!

Maybe an arty shot for the BHPA or maybe it's just rubbish I can't decide.

2nd day - Looking North on glide to Interlaken, my first 'boot' photo!

Interlaken LZ. Just above the brown patch of the bottom field below, don't fluff
it up cause
everyone will see you!

180 degree vista from the cafe 50m above First TO, Grindlewald. (drag the bar
and pretend you're turning your head!)

First Take Off, wow! (Its bottom left of the photo on the brown grassy slope)

Mark Shaw, launching from said take-off.

Me at cloudbase over the mountains, 45 minutes after launching from said TO.

The eiger, monch and Jungfrau in the distance, I think.

Going XC to Interlaken, (bottom right).

Very happy Simon!
Below are a few more i've just found on a film, mainly for Ken!

Ken just before he went off to do 20 m/s spiral dives!

Ken, dynamic soaring a rather large spine-backed ridge that i've forgotten the
name of

a close up of Ken, (he was above me mostly, i just didn't take any pictures
then!)
Following two friends to Interlaken on a very large top to bottom!
